Is scríbhneoir do pháistí í Sadhbh Devlin. Tá trí pictiúirleabhar dá cuid foilsithe ag Futa Fata. Tá cónaí uirthi i mBré, Co. Chill Mhantáin lena fear chéile, a hiníní, Lile agus Sábha agus dhá mhuc-ghuinea d’arbh aimn Teacup agus Bow.

Tá céim aici sa Drámaíocht agus an Nua-Ghaeilge ó Choláiste na Tríonóide, BÁC agus d’oibrigh sí ar feadh na blianta i ‘saol na Gaeilge’, go príomha le Comhluadar Teo. – eagraíocht a thug tacaíocht do thuismitheoirí a bhí ag tógáil clainne le Gaeilge.

Bíonn Sadhbh ag obair ar chláracha teilifíse do TG4 freisin agus tá taithí aici bheith ag obair mar; Láithreoir, Taighdeoir  agus Cúntóir Léiriúcháin. Faoi láthair tá sí le feiceáil ag déanamh ealaín agus lámh-cheardaíocht ar Cúla4 ar Scoil!

Is ball í de Children’s Books Ireland, Writers in Schools agus Aontas na Scríbhneoirí Gaeilge. Scríobhann sí léirmheasana d’Inis Magazine agus tá sí ar fáil le ceardlainne éagsúla a bhaineann leis an litríocht a dhéanamh i scoileanna, leabharlanna agus féilte.

Sadhbh Devlin is a children’s author. She has published three Irish-language picturebooks with Futa Fata. She lives in Bray, Co. Wicklow with her husband, her twin-daughters, Lile and Sábha and two Guinea Pigs called Teacup and Bow.

She has a degree in Drama and Modern-Irish from Trinity College Dublin and worked for many years in the Irish language non-profit sector – most notably with Comhluadar Teo., an organisation which supported families who spoke Irish at home.

Sadhbh also works in television and helps to make programmes for TG4. She has worked as a presenter, a researcher and a production assistant. You can currently see her on Cúla 4 ar Scoil making arts and crafts!

Sadhbh is a member of Children’s Books Ireland, Writers in Schools and Aontas na Scríbhneoirí Gaeilge. She writes book reviews for Inis magazine and is available for presenting workshops in schools, libraries and at festivals.

She is the dlr Writer in Residence 2019/2020.
